Join us for a discussion of David McNally’s text, “Socialism from Below”
Please read this long-ish piece in advance.
You may find this reading and discussion particularly interesting if:
  • You know that capitalism needs to be replaced by something better, but aren’t sure what some alternatives are
  • You would like to learn more about a socialism that believes people in general are capable of running society themselves and they are also are capable of bringing about the change that would create that future society
  • You find socialism interesting, but have serious criticisms of so-called “socialist” or “communist” states such as the USSR, Cuba, China because of the anti-democratic, repressive, and exploitative way they treated (or continue to treat) their people (we agree with these criticisms)
  • You would like to learn more about socialism in general
This discussion is free and open to all who want to learn more about socialism from below.
We look forward to seeing you there!
